The History of Vision Ventures

Vision Ventures of Carolina, LLC was established in 1997 in Charlotte, N.C., by the two founding partners, Doug Stephan and Paul Picarazzi.

They began purchasing distressed residential properties in the various neighborhoods surrounding uptown Charlotte with the intent to renovate them for resale. The majority of these properties were in need of substantial work, and more importantly, they needed the partner’s combined creative planning, design, and vision for a successful transformation. Thus, Vision Ventures was born.

By 1999 the two had renovated and resold over two-dozen residential properties. They then began renovating and redeveloping small commercial office and specialty retail buildings for rental holdings. By mid-1999 Vision Ventures Construction Services, Inc. was formed to handle the general contracting for Vision Ventures’ development projects and for third party construction services. Today Vision Ventures Construction Services, Inc. is an Unlimited Licensed General Contractor specializing in large residential additions, renovations and new custom homes.

In 2000 Vision Brokerage Group, LLC was formed to broker all of Vision Ventures development projects and to assist third party brokerage clients. Currently we specialize in investment real estate, exchanges, commercial leasing and acquisitions for small to medium size businesses.
